The Nesheim church is a long church dating from 1908. It was built according to the plans of the architect Adolf Schirmer. It is the first church in the city and was built near a former auxiliary cemetery. It is not known for sure when the old cemetery was created, but it may have been built at the beginning of the 19th century.

The church in Eksingedalen, built in grey stone, dates from 1883. It replaces a wooden chapel built in the 17th century. Eksingedalen did not get its own parish until 1881, which is why a church was built.
Mo's church is a long log and panelled church with a tower above the porch in the west. The church was built in 1883 to the designs of the builder Johannes Øvsthus from Hosanger. In 1981 an extension was made for a toilet on both sides of the tower and a wheelchair ramp by the architect Einar Vårdal Lunde.
The church of Evanger is a long church from 1851. The oldest mention of a church in Evanger dates from the mid 14th century. The medieval church was most probably a stave church. It is not known exactly how long the medieval church was, but it was probably replaced by a wooden church in the 17th century. The 17th-century church remained until it was replaced by the modern church in 1851.
