Laksevåg Church

Laksevåg church is a long church from 1874-75. The church is built with three naves, a tower to the north and a one-aisle choir, terminated by the courtyard, to the south, according to a design by architect Peter Andreas Blix. This project was edited by the architect Theodor August Fromholz.

Bergen New Church

The new church in Bergen was built in 1622, but the present appearance is mainly due to the reconstruction in 1756. The new church is built of stone in a mixture of baroque and rococo style. The interior bears the mark of the reconstruction period of the 1950s, which took place after the wartime destruction in 1944.

Johanneskirken

The church was built in 1894 in a neo-gothic style according to the plans of the architect Herman M Backer. The tower of Johanneskirken is visible everywhere near the centre. The church has the highest tower in Bergen, at 61 meters.
