Furnes Church

The church of Furnes is a characteristic stone church built in 1708, probably modelled on the church of Our Saviour in Christiania. It is one of the few stone churches built at that time. The church is well preserved as it was after its restoration in 1958. In 1876 the church was given a new tower, which replaced the old turret.
