Åna-Sira Church

The Hidra church is located on a site where a medieval church once stood. The present building of the Hidra Church was built according to the plans of the architect Chr. H. Grosch in 1851. The nave has an elongated octagonal plan with a choir and a porch as separate extensions at each end, and wide but shallow transverse vessels. The interior is decorated in the Empire style of the 1929 renovation.

Sokndal Church is an 1803 church, built in wood with exterior timber cladding. In 1899, the church got its present tower with a tall, slender capital. The church underwent some changes, but much was restored during the 1928 restoration. The interior is richly designed in the Louis-XVI style.

The Flekkefjord church was designed by the architect Linstow. It is built of slatted wood covered with a horizontal panel painted white, and has an octagonal plan with a choir and tower as an extension. The tower is rather low and has a slightly sloping pyramidal roof, which is topped by a small narrow octagonal tower with a dome-shaped roof. The church was consecrated in 1833, and it is situated on land where a church had existed since the Middle Ages. Previously, there was a cemetery around the church, where today there is a park.
