Lygra Church

The Lygra church from 1892 was designed by the architect Petter Gabrielsen. On the outside, the church looks like a typical neo-gothic church with a narrower choir and three sides to the east, with a sacristy on each side and a tower to the west. The interior is a masterpiece of Swiss style carpentry, with cross-stitch ornaments, window frames, a pulpit and baptismal font. In addition, the church has an exceptionally rich decorative painting with stencilled ornaments, lines and outlines.

Hundvin Church

The Hundvin church is a long church dating from 1936. The villagers had wanted a church on Hundvin for a long time, as they had to walk to Lygra to reach the parish church, built in 1888.

Myking Church

Myking Church is a long stone church dating from 1861. The two previous churches were probably a medieval stave church and a wooden church of 1606. The church was first renovated in 1961 and again between 2009 and 2011 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the church.
