Evenstad Church is a typical long church, built in 1904 according to the plans of architect Victor Nordan. It is one of the first of several similar Nordan churches. The church has a rather simple 'national romantic' design, with interconnected arched windows.

Strand Church is a relatively simple and small long church, built in 1863 according to the plans of the architect J.W. Nordan. The church is patched and panelled and has a tower on the west side dating from 1895. The wooden walls were painted yellow in 1953.
The church in Sjøli is a church built in 1914 according to the plans of architect H. J. Sparre. The church has a national romantic style. The church was originally painted brown, but became red in 1997. The interior has been completed and well preserved since the time of construction.
Stor-Elvdal church is a typical Trøndelag octagonal church, designed by architect S. Aspaas and consecrated in 1821. In 1890-91 the church was rebuilt by HM Backer and consecrated again in 1891. Interior is largely from Backers remodelling in 1890-91.
