Rødven Church

The new church in Rødven was designed by J.Z.M. Kielland in 1907 to replace the Stave church below. The new church was built in slatted planks and its exterior is panelled and painted red with white and green trim. The church was given "Dragestil" forms and aisle-shaped naves. Above the main entrance there is a tower with a simple, tall and slender capital.

Rødven's Stave Church

Rødven's Stave church was built around 1300, but its choir dates from the 18th century. The sacristy, porch and eaves are also later additions. Inside, the church is characterised by restorations from the 17th and 18th centuries. When the site's new church was consecrated in 1907, the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Norwegian Monuments took over the moat church.

Eid Church

The church of Eid is a long church built in 1797 and made of wood. Originally, the tower was in the middle of the church, but it was rebuilt on the porch roof during the reconstruction of 1872-1874. In 1862 Eid became its own parish and the church became the main church.

Old Veøy Church

The old church in Veøy is a long medieval stone church built around the year 1200. Veøy Old Church is often compared to the two other central stone churches in Møre og Romsdal: Borgund Church and Tingvoll Church. The exterior is Romanesque and the interior dates from the post-reformation period. The church functioned as a parish church until 1907.
