Old Church in Eidfjord

The new church in Eidfjord is located next to the old stone church from the 14th century. As the old church was too small and impractical, it was decided to complete it with a new, modern 'working church'. The kindergarten section was the first stage of construction. It was completed in 1979, while the rest of the church building was completed and inaugurated in 1981. The new church, which is almost a square brick building, was designed by the architect Sigurd Sekse. Around the church, there is a park, with a separate bell stop on the north side, while the church cemetery is on the other side of the road.

The Ulvik church, inaugurated in 1859, is well preserved in its original form on the outside, except for the sacristy, which is a later construction. Inside, there is a three-part altarpiece in Gothic Revival style, a plaque commemorating Thomas Samuelsen Uro, the parish priest of Ulvik from 1652 to 1667, with his wife and eight children. The painting dates from 1650 and was painted by Elias Fiigenschaug.

The church in Granvin is a long wooden church dating from 1726. It replaces the Granvin Stave church which had to be demolished due to decay in the 1720s. The first time Granvinskyrkja is mentioned in written sources is in 1306.
