Sykkylven Church

The church in Sykkylven was built in brick in 1990 and designed by the architect Oscar F. Norderval. The church of Sykkylven is a modern "working church": in addition to the church, the complex includes an office, its own chapel, a complete basement with an activity room and a large kitchen.

The Ikornnes church, formerly the chapel of Ikornnes, was built between 1976 and 1978. The church, whose architect was Alf Apelseth, is built of concrete and stone and has a separate bell.

Skodje Church

Skodje church dates from 1860 and is built of wood. The architect was F. Meinhardt and the builders were Gjert Lien and Elias Tonning from Nordfjord. The altarpiece on the altar in the church dates from 1883 and is a copy by Adolph Tidemand.

The church in Spjelkavik is a hexagonal church dating from 1987. In 2007 the new decoration of the church was completed. Since 2002 the artist Håkon Bleken has been working on a series of stained glass windows.
