Bø church is a long church from 1868, designed by architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. Churches have been built here since the Middle Ages. The first time a church in Bø is mentioned in written sources is in 1340. There have been at least two churches on Bø before the present church was built.

The Hyllestad church is a long church from 1880, designed by architect Johannes Henrik Nissen. There have been two old churches in Hyllestad, the oldest of which was a stave church. These were built a few kilometres from where the present church stands. The first church is mentioned in written sources from the 14th century.
The Lavik church is an octagonal church built in 1865 according to the plans of the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch and is made of wood. Today's church is the third known church in the town. The first was a stave church which probably dates from the 12th century. The stave church was replaced by a new church in 1594, which in turn was replaced by the present church from 1860 onwards.
Øn church is a long church from 1958, the fourth known in the former parish of Øn, and it replaced a wooden church from 1880 which burnt down after a lightning strike on 4 November 1940. The first time a church in Øn is mentioned in written sources is in 1327.
