Stord Church

The Stord Church is a long church from 1857, designed by Andreas Grønning and Frederik Hannibal Stockfleth. An old medieval church, dating from the 14th century, used to be there, but it was demolished in 1854 to make way for the new church.

Nysæter Church

Nysæter church is a fan-shaped church that was built of brick in 1991. The architect of the church is Colin Anspach.

Eid Church

The Eid Church was built in 1824, and replaced the 1668 church that had been built when a former medieval stave church was demolished. In 1891-93, the church received a new porch and new large windows. In 1920 a new sacristy was built behind the choir.

Valen Chapel

The Valen Chapel is a long church originally built as a church in 1707. The first historical traces of the church date back to the year 1350, but it was built some time before that. The old Stave church was demolished in 1707 and a new church was rebuilt on the same site.
