Sande Church

The church in Sande was built in 1880. The oldest known church on this site, mentioned in 1329, was a stave church. The new church was damaged by a storm in 1907 when the spire was destroyed.

Åram church is a long church from 1927. An extension with a toilet was added in front of the main entrance in 1964. In 1987, the building was insulated when a new exterior cladding was added. At the same time, the windows were replaced and the floor was insulated.

Herøy Church

Today's Herøy church was consecrated in 2003. The church that used to stand here burned down the night before Christmas Day 1998. Many works of art from the Middle Ages were lost in the fire.
