Konnerud Church

The new church in Konnerud is a brick working church, consecrated on 6 October 1996. The need for a new church became urgent when the population of Konnerud grew from about 3,700 in the early 1970s to just under 10,000 in the late 1990s.

Old Konnerud Church

The old Konnerud church is a wooden church completed in 1858. Before the present church, there was a church on the same site from 1760. This first church was of simple construction, it looked almost like a barn on the outside, and inside there were initially only a few pews, no altarpiece.

Strømsgodset Church

Strømsgodset Church is a rectangular wooden church built in 1843. The architect of the church is Christian Heinrich Grosch. In 1938 Strømsgodset became its own parish.

Strømsø kirke

Strømsø Church is a wooden cruciform church dating from 1667. It has a vestry at the eastern end of the chancel and a turret above the centre of the cross plan. In 1702 the wooden exterior of the church was boarded up. The interior is strongly influenced by the renovation of the 1840s.
