The Gjerstad church is a long church built in 1870-71. A 13th-century stave church was replaced by a wooden church in 1622, which was replaced by the present church in 1871. After a renovation in 1957, the church received a porch and two vestries.

Haus Church is a wooden church from 1874, designed by architect Ole Vangberg. A church has existed on the site since the middle of the 14th century. The original stave church was later replaced by another church in 1613, the predecessor of the present church.
The Bruvik church is a long wooden church built in 1867. The church was built according to Frederik Hannibal Stockfleth's designs for the church in Fusa. The builder Ole Vangberg made several changes and adaptations to the designs for the church in Bruvik.
The church in Ytre Arna is a long church from 1899 and is a copy of the Berger church from 1895 in Svelvik in Vestfold. Both churches have the same architect, Schak Bull, and date from the same period. The reason for the similarity of the churches is the industrial history of both places. The villages of Ytre Arna and Berger have been transformed into industrial sites and were both built around the textile industry.
