Trysil kirke

The church in Trysil is a cruciform panelled church built to the designs of the architect Christian H. Grosch in 1861. The church is a typical Grosch church in a combination of Swiss and neo-Gothic style. In 1897, the church received a new altarpiece painted by Johannes Grennes after the Resurrection by Adolph Tidemand in the church in Bragernes. In the chancel hangs a painting of the Eucharist probably by Peter Lillie in the 18th century.
