Old Church of Nordre Osen

The old church of Nordre Osen was inaugurated in 1777. It is made of wood, panelled and painted red with white corners. The altarpiece, carved by Laurits Larsen and dated 1674, comes from St. Michael's Church of the Great Elvedal. The richly carved pulpit with its roof also comes from St. Michael's Church.

Nordre Osen Church

Nordre Osen Church is a long-standing church with a simple architecture, built in 1923 according to the drawings of the architect Ivar Wiehe-Næs. The church has an asymmetrical tower and main entrance, as well as unusual details. The altarpiece was painted by Maria Vigeland in 1923 and shows the Annunciation, placed in a neo-gothic setting.

Deset Church

Deset Church, dating from 1867, is the only church built according to the designs of the Danish architect Johan Henrik Nebelong from 1851 to 1960. The church is well preserved after the modifications made to it in 1903. The church has two copies of medieval stone sculptures from the workshops of Nidaros Cathedral.

Søre Osen Church

Søre Osen or Søndre Osen is a church from 1882. The church was first painted in 1907 and received a new large extension to the sacristy in 1959 and its altarpiece in 1964.
