Oppegård Church

Oppegård Church is a wooden church completed in 1876. The present church is the third on the site. The first church was a stave church known from an inspection in 1688. Based on this description, it is assumed that the stave church consisted of a rectangular nave and a low, narrow chancel.

The baroque portal altarpiece has wings with richly carved acanthus leaves and was probably made by Johan Jørgen Schram in 1715.
