The Ørsta church was built in 1864 and designed by the architects Schirmer and von Hanno. The church is recognisable by its bell tower with a curved baroque roof. The interior has a characteristic roof construction and ornaments inspired by the Urnes stave church.

The Volda church is a stone church consecrated in 1932. In the 1400s there was a stave church here. It was demolished in 1858 and replaced by a new wooden church in the shape of a cross, one of the largest wooden churches in the country. It burned down the night before April 7, 1929. None of the partly very old furniture was saved. The present church has a choir with a fresco by Hugo Mohr. This fresco, which was at the time the largest fresco work in Norway, was completed in 1932.
The Vartdal church was built in 1876 and inaugurated one year later. The architects of the church, Wilhelm von Hanno and Heinrich Ernst Schirmer, were clearly inspired by the church in Ørsta (built in 1864). Due to storm damage, the church had to be reinforced in 1879.
The Dalsfjord church is a cross-shaped church dating from 1910 and built of wood. The architect was Ole Havnæs. The organ was built by Bernt M. Haugen and Lars Ulvestad.
