Vardåsen Church is both a "working church" and a kindergarten. The church was consecrated in March 2004 and was designed by architect Terje Grønmo. The church received the Concrete Commission's award in 2004.

The Heggedal church is a long church dating from 1931. Formerly a chapel designed by Fritz Holland, the church is close to its original appearance, except that it was painted white in 1950.

Asker Church

The church in Asker is a typical long neo-Gothic church made of red bricks. It was built in 1879 by the builder Kepler and the mason Arnesen according to the drawings of the architect J. W. Nordan. On the same site, there was a stone church in the Middle Ages. The interior is characterised by the renovation in 1930 when a large part of the old one was replaced.
