Our Lady of Ljeviš, Prizren
The Cathedral of Our Lady of Ljeviš is a 14th-century Serbian Orthodox church in Prizren. The church was converted into mosque under Ottoman rule and functioned as such from the 15th to the beginning of the 20th century.
About this building
The building reflects a mixture of different artistic traditions, combining elements of Byzantine, Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The building was damaged during the 2004 ethnic unrest in Kosovo. Restoration has been ongoing since then.
