According to the Commission on the Preservation of Jewish Heritage, the cemetery was established in the first half of the 19th century. The last buried dates to 1941. It can be found marked on a map of the region from the 1900s.

According to locals, the gravestones date to the late 20th century. The cemetery is abandoned and its land is used for cattle grazing.
The Jewish cemetery of Lypovets was established in 1700. Today there are around 300 headstones dating from the entire 20th century. In 2019, it was fenced by ESJF.
