Saint Margaret Church is a Neo-Baroque temple in Veszprem inaugurated in the Jubilee Year of 1938, which commemorated the death of St Stephen I.
The church was built to provide the growing population of the district with a parish church in which to conduct liturgy. The façade is notable for its tower with an onion dome under which the statue of St. Margaret is located.

The Cathedral of St. Michael, one of the oldest cathedrals in Hungary, was founded in the 10th century by Gisela of Hungary, thus naming the city of Veszprém "city of queens".
