The Church of St. Croix is a Catholic church built in the mid-nineteenth century. The church displays an outdoor Art Deco style and a neo-Gothic interior. This building replaced the former little Sainte-Croix church, a traditional place of worship for charcoal workers.
The construction of Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur church was requested by the neighbourhood's residents and built from 1925 to 1928 by architect Édmond Serneels. Designed in a neo-Romanesque style, the proportions were changed during the second phase of construction; due to lack of money, the length of the building was reduced.
The Church of the Fathers of the Blessed Sacrament is a Neo-Gothic religious building and convent building built respectively in 1874 and 1884. In 1932, an additional floor was added to the annexe building at the back of the church. In 1976, the interior volume of the church was profoundly modified by the installation of a false ceiling and a separation wall shortening the choir.
