St. George's Cathedral

St. George's Cathedral has been the Catholic Cathedral of the Diocese of Syros and Milos since 1652. Built around 1200, it has been rebuilt several times since then. In 1617 it was destroyed by the Turks. It was last rebuilt in 1834.

Ancient Synagogue in Delos

The Ancient Synagogue in Delos was built between 150 and 128 BCE. The building was discovered in 1912-13, excavated again in 1965 and a new survey was conducted in 2000-2003. This stone building now serves as a museum.
