About this building
Very old Strasbourg church, refurbished in the 13th century, this Saint-Thomas church has become particularly famous thanks to its Protestant period, for which it inherited the qualifier of "Cathedral of Protestantism in Alsace", but also for its particular architecture. The church-hall has five vessels of equal height, late Gothic style, surmounted by two towers, a square tower on the main entrance and a hexagonal tower on the crossing of the transept.
