Storsteinnes Chapel

Storsteinnes chapel is a wooden church from 1968. The chapel was designed by the Armed Forces' district engineer Northern Norway, who also designed the Heggelia chapel in Målselv at the same time.

Balsfjord Church

The Balsfjord church in is a long church dating from 1856. The church was designed by Christian H. Grosch and was built in 1864-1856 and inaugurated on 19 October 1856. The church is a long, white-painted church in neo-gothic style with a tower placed axially to the west. The tower helps to give the church its distinctive character.

Øverbygd Church

The Øverbygd church is a wooden church dating from 1867, the work of the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The interior of the church was restored in 1967 and 1972. Among other things, the wooden walls were insulated and panelled to make the church warmer. Recently, the inhabitants have tried to bring the church's furniture back to its original style.
