Revheim Church

The Revheim church is a wooden church built in 1865 by the famous Norwegian architect Linstow. The church was restored in 1954 and received a new part of the choir and a new extension to the east. The church was partially destroyed by fire in August 1992 when two 17-year-old boys broke in and set fire to the altar.

Tananger Church

The Tananger church is a modernist church from 2002. In this church, people sit in a fan around the altar, which is supposed to contribute to the enhancement of the community. Veslemøy Nystedt Stoltenberg designed the stained glass window in the foundation wall. Textile artist Bjørg Marit Bjørnevik designed the sails that hang in the centre of the church hall and interior designer Ewa Oudshoorn designed the liturgical furniture.

Tananger Chapel

The Tananger chapel (formerly the Tananger church) is a long church from 1879. The chapel was built in 1879 by the architect Hans Ditlev Franciscus von Linstow. In 2002, the chapel was replaced as a parish church by the new Tananger church, which is located right next to the chapel.
