The Tanum church is a brick church built in the 12th century. The octagonal spire was built in 1625 by the famous "Christoffer Thornebøger" who also made a tower at the church in Enebakk. In the middle of the 19th century the church was threatened with demolition, but it was finally restored at the beginning of the 20th century.

The Helgerud Church has been in operation since 1982. Helgerud Church is built of red brick and was designed by the architect Harald Hille. Separate offices have been built with the main building. Downstairs there is a children and youth section and a kindergarten.
The Holmen church, completed in 1965, was designed by the architect MNAL Knut Knutsen in a square form that is repeated outside and inside the church. A 1984 extension houses offices and a kindergarten as well as an attic floor for small gatherings.
Bryn Church is a long church from 1861, designed by the architect P.H. Holtermann. The church was restored in 1959-60 by the architect Finn Bryn. In 2007-2008 the church spire was repaired.
