Tekijska Mosque
The exact year of construction of the Tekijska Mosque is not known, but it is mentioned as early as 1622. In 1848, Ali Pasha Rizvanbegović (1783-1851) restored the mosque. In 1917 the Austro-Hungarian authorities removed the lead from the mosque's dome, and in 1922 the mosque was rebuilt. During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1992 and 1995, the building was considerably damaged, and from 1999 to 2004, major repairs were carried out.
