Tenala Church

The church of Tenala is a stone church built between 1460 and 1480. The building was completely restored in 1984-1986. The furniture includes a wooden sculpture of St. Olaf from the 14th century, a mechanical organ from 1887 and the pulpit from 1655. The old pulpit support, in the form of a giant, is preserved in the church.

Pohja Church

The church of Pohja was built between 1460 and 1480. The church contains wooden carvings from the 13th century, its stone walls are from the 15th century, its pews from the 18th century, its organ from the 20th century and the new altar is from the 21st century.

Perniö Church

The church in Perniö is a medieval stone church probably built between 1460 and 1480. The church was designed by the same master builder who was responsible for the churches of Kemiö, Sauvo and Tenhola. The church has undergone few changes, except for the south-east pillar built in the 18th century and the modification of the window openings in the 19th century.

Karjaa Church

Karjaa Church, or St Catherine's Church, is a medieval stone church probably built around 1465-1470. The church tower, with its medieval stone base, is a more recent construction, dating from 1768. The church has a stained glass window painted by the artist Gunnar Forsström.
