The Lutheran church at Valdemārpils was built in its present form in 1646. In 1928 the interior of the church was repaired. During the last two wars, the church did not suffer much. From 2004 to 2006 the congregation carried out major repairs.
The Sabile Synagogue is an Ashkenazi synagogue built between 1875 and 1890, reconstructed after 1990. This Rundbogenstil brick synagogue is now used as a museum.
The Tukums Synagogue is an Ashkenazi synagogue built in 1865 but renovated after 1945. This Neo-Classical brick synagogue is now used as an educational institution.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Nicholas is named after Nicholas I following a donation from the Emperor to build the church between 1834 and 1835. The church remained intact during the two World Wars, but was restored at the beginning of the 21st century.
