Valsøyfjord Church

Valsøyfjord Church, also popularly called Otnes Church, is a wooden church completed in 1864 according to the design of the Danish-born architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan (1824 - 1892).

Halsa Church

The church of Halsa is a cruciform church from 1725, marked by Baroque and Rococo elements. In 1917 the church was in a bad condition and its demolition was considered but was finally restored. Objects and decorative paintings from 1751 were discovered during the restoration. During the restoration, five embalmed bodies were found under the floor of the church.

Aure Church

The church of Aure is a cruciform church built in 1924 on a site where churches have been built since the 10th century. The old Stave church in Stave church, which dates back to the Middle Ages, was demolished in 1726. The next church was a wooden cross church which was consecrated in 1727. On 21 January 1923, the church burnt down after a thunderbolt. The architect of the new church was Nils Ryjord, who had been associated with Nidaros Cathedral.
