Heilige Johannes de Doper

The late Gothic tower of the historic village church of Sint Jans Onthoofding, built around 1500, was spared during the demolition of the old church. The new church from 1931 was built against this tower. This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

Koningshoeven Abbey

Koningshoeven Abbey (Abdij Koningshoeven) is a Trappist monastery founded in 1881 in Berkel-Enschot, the Netherlands. Over the years, the abbey expanded facing both spiritual and financial challenges. Today, Koningshoeven Abbey remains an active religious community and home to De Koningshoeven Brewery, which continues to produce Trappist beer.

Heilige Petrus' Banden

The current St. Petrus' Bandenkerk was completed in 1897, and replaced a church from the thirteenth century. The church is considered a very important work in the late oeuvre of Dr. Pierre Cuypers (1827 - 1921). This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

Protestantse Kerk

The original parish church (Petrus' Banden) of Oisterwijk is returned to the Roman Catholics during the reign of King Lodewijk Napoleon. For an amount of ƒ 7,000, a new church for the Reformed (later Protestant) will be built. Mr. Hubert is given and accepts the assignment to design the drawings of the new church and to draw up the associated specifications, cost estimates, etc. This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.
