Willesden Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

The Willesden Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, founded in 1975, is the first Hindu Swaminarayan temple to open in London. First located in an abandoned Anglican church, a new temple was built from 1986 to 1988.

Emmanuel Church

The origin of Emmanuel Church lies in the rapid development of West Hampstead in the second half of the 19th century after the arrival of the railways. The architect of the church was JA Thomas, of Whitfield and Thomas. The foundation stone was laid on 19 June 1897.
