Akoursos Mosque

The mosque is centrally located in the old village centre. Not much is known about the history of this small mosque. The current building is a new construction that replaced an old mosque that was built around 1900 but showed increasing signs of decay in the following decades. The dilapidated building was then completely destroyed by the Paphos earthquake of 1953 and a few years after the collapse, the current mosque was rebuilt.

The Hacı Mustafa Ağa Mosque is located in the western area of the original settlement area. Not much is known about the history of the building. However, it is said that a mosque existed in the village as early as 1883. Due to the construction method, the current building is likely to be a new construction from the 20th century. Loukrounou Mosque

The mosque was located in the northern entrance area of the village. Nothing is known about the history of this building. However, it could be a new building constructed after the earthquake of 1953. In the aerial photographs from 1963, one can clearly see that the building, which is shown as a mosque in the cadastral plan, no longer has a roof, but a small new building exists a little further to the east.
