The Monastery of the Annunciation dates back to the 12th century. The church of the monastery has a cross-shaped base with an apse to the east. To the west is a porch with wooden pillars. An inscription above the entrance door on the west wall of the church, in the porch, indicates that the church was built in 1602.
The Monastery of the Transfiguration, located in the gorge of Ovčar-Kablar, was originally situated on the other side (left) of the Western Morava, but was demolished in 1910 due to the construction of the railway Čačak-Višegrad. The first mention of the Monastery of the Transfiguration in written sources is related to the year 1525.
Sretenje Monastery is one of ten monasteries in the gorge of Ovčar-Kablar. The monastery was founded in the 16th century and underwent extensive renovations in 1818. The church has frescoes and an iconostasis. Among the monastery's treasures are a 17th-century baptismal font and a collection of manuscripts.
Nikolje Monastery is one of the most important monasteries in the Kablar Gorge Ovčar. Although we do not know the exact date of its foundation, the age of the monastery can be guessed from some of its paintings, dating from the end of the 15th century. The monastery church also has frescoes dating from 1587 and 1637 and from the 19th century.
