Bardu Church was built in 1825-1829, based on the model of Tynset Church, but on a smaller scale. The church has an octagonal plan, a large square tower to the west and a choir to the east. The exterior of the church is clad with vertical panels painted white. The tower was not completed until 1840.

The Salangen church dates back to 1981. It replaces a half-timbered church from 1864 which was burnt down in 1978.
The Lavangen church is a half-timbered church built by the builder O. Scheistrøen. It was consecrated in 1891 as a chapel in the parish of Ibestad, after which it was also attached to the parish of Salangen before it became its own parish.
Kirkesnesmoen chapel was built of wood in 1977. The church has a long plan and was designed by architect Harry Gangvik.
