Church of Saint-François
Modestly sized and simple-looking, but not without the charm of small churches in the suburbs of large cities. The church has a light interior decor and light exterior walls, giving the building a natural light that is pleasing to the visitor's eye.
About this building
After the First World War, a Capuchin friar, Father Jean, established a modest wooden place of worship on land donated by Mr. and Mrs. de Palomera. A church was then built around 1928, followed by a convent, the Langevin complex, which trained future Capuchin missionaries. In the 1950s, alterations were made to the interior of the building, which became a parish church.
