Agios Nikolaos is an Orthodox church, ortinally built as a monastery church in the 14th century. During the Ottoman occupation of Crete, the church was transformed into a mosque. In 1928, it was transformed again into a church. It is the only church in Greece with both a bell tower and a minaret.
The Church of St Catherine and St John the Hermit is a 16th-century church in the city Chania.
The church of St. Rocco is a temple built in 1630. It was dedicated to Saint Rokkos, probably as a gesture to gain the saint's favour to stop a plague in the city.
