El Tawheed is a Mosque founded in 1986, very close to the Kosverlorenvaart canal in Amsterdam.
The mosque carries out a wide range of cultural and educative activities: it has a library and a bookstore, it publishes the monthly magazine El Tawheed, it hosts lectures, it offers Arabic lessons for all levels and tailor-made courses, it has Islam courses, and its also a space for social work.
Dating back to 1872, Vondel Church faced demolition but was saved through restoration efforts. Now, it offers office space and enchanting rentals, preserving cultural heritage and contributing to city restoration.
Paradiso is a former church, built in the 19th century, turned entertainment venue in Amsterdam, known for its association with hippie counterculture, rock music, drug tolerance, and diverse programming including concerts, lectures, and plays.
The Amsterdam Westerkerk is a Calvinist church built between 1620 and 1631 in a Baroque style.
