Roman Catholic parish church of Our Lady Visitation. Founded in the early 1960s for the small but then growing Catholic population in Hoogeveen and the surrounding area. Sober modern hall church with small bell tower, designed in the spirit of the liturgical innovations surrounding the Second Vatican Council.

Hall church with tower in neoclassical oriented round arch style, built in 1852 and enlarged in 1877. Simple front facade with undecorated rose window and facade tower. Internal wooden barrel vaults. Triumphal arch on pilasters with composite capitals. The altarpiece with a representation of the crucified Christ is still present from the original high altar. Organ by L. Ypma from 1871, expanded in 2000 with a free pedal.

The Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady Visitation was built in Budel from 1904 to a design by architect C. Franssen, to replace the late Gothic church. The nave and the tower were built first. The neo-Gothic church was expanded by the same architect from 1910 to 1912 with a chancel and transept.

The old parish church dedicated to Saint Augustine ended up on the edge of the village due to the digging of the Juliana Canal between 1921 and 1935. For the canal, 50 houses around the church were demolished. After the Second World War, Elsloo expanded strongly to the east. It was clear that a second church would have to be built, which would be more centrally located. The Augustine Church would become a subsidiary church of the new Godshuis. In October 1952, architect Dings investigated whether it would be possible to expand the old church. This turned out to be impossible due to the soil conditions. The question arose as to where this new church should be built. The chosen building location was between the field road Elserheggen (now Dorine Verschureplein/Bandkeramiekerstraat) and the Koolweg. In June 1953, pastor Bertin brought architect Dings to the vote in the church council, which almost unanimously appointed him as the architect of the new church. The diocese joined that choice. Pastor Bertin made a pilgrimage to Lourdes that year to prepare himself spiritually for his task as a construction pastor. The tender took place on 11 March 1958. Contractor Schreurs from Sittard was the lowest bidder. The first stone was laid on 22 June of that year. On 25 October 1959, Mgr. Moors consecrated the church.

The OLV Church is the most important monument in Breda. It was built between 1410 and 1468.

The church of Onze Lieve Vrouwe Presentatie is a late neo-Gothic Catholic church completed in 1906 and restored and extended in 1934. It has three aisles, a tower with niche division and a high octagonal spire. The main organ was built by the Verschueren company in 1952.

Notre-Dame Church, officially called "Our Lady of Grace" was built by the Jesuits in the 16th century. The neo-Gothic church was built in 1877 under the direction of architects Jules Bilmeyer and Joseph Van Riel and consecrated in 1882. The two beautiful slender towers were added later. Today, the church is mainly visited by the Polish community.
