Eben Haezerkerk

Ouddorp, NL

In 1983, the association building of the Dutch Reformed Church in Ouddorp was first built at this location. From 1989 to 2010, church services were also held in the building. The building was owned by the Eben Haëzer Foundation until 2013, after which it was transferred to the Reformed Church. In 2012 and 2013 a completely new Reformed Church with 1,071 seats was built at the association building. This building is called 'Eben-Haëzerkerk' .

Modern church without tower. "Refodome". To replace the former church building. The commissioning of this church building took place on 22 June 1984. In 1984, this church building was expanded with 302 seats, bringing the total to 912. An extension was built perpendicular to the church hall, on the west side. There was also more hall space. In 1999, the church building was expanded again on the east side, adding 248 seats. The total then came to 1095 without pull-out benches and extra chairs.

Church building from 1970 with 166 seats, replacing an earlier building. It was put into use on 23 September 1970 with 160 seats. As of 1 January 2014, Breda became a department of the municipality of Dordrecht. As of 1 September 2015, the municipality of Breda was dissolved and became a "classical drop-in centre" with evangelism activities. The members of Breda have become members of the municipality of Dordrecht. Dordrecht also remains the mother municipality of the "post Breda".

Modern church without tower. Extensions in 1985 (including a new entrance) and 2000. The Reformed Church of Ermelo was founded around 1923. An old school building was purchased to hold church services there. After initially only holding services during the week, it was decided in 1962 to hold Sunday church services. From 30 June 1963, church services were held in the 'Hervormd jeugdgebouw' on the Beekweg in Ermelo. This is more centrally located for visitors. In 1970, the decision was made to have a church building built on the Hanengewei. The church building was officially put into use by the congregation on 2 July 1971. In 1984, it was decided to build a new building and to use the existing church building as a meeting room. On 19 December 1985, the church building was put into use, with 500 seats.

Eberbach Abbey is an incredibly well preserved 12th-century Gothic abbey. The monastery operated from its establishment in 1136 to 1803 (prohibition of monastic communities in the Holy Roman Empire). The building now houses a cultural foundation and the abbey museum traces the history of the abbey and the Cistercian order. Eberbach is also today the largest wine estate in Germany.
