Munnekezijl, NL

Interesting hall church with tower, built in 1913 by L. Reitsma according to a model that was common in the Northern Netherlands in those years. Characteristic is the combination of painted wainscoting in the interior with stained glass windows, wooden ceilings, plastered walls and brick details. From the outside, this type of church, also in Munnekezijl, has a robust brick appearance, usually with a tower rising from the facade. Organ from 1920 by the Gebr. Rohlfing (Osnabrück). This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

Modern church without tower. It replaced a church demolished in 1978. Reformed Church of Nijega, Opeinde and De Tike. The organ was built in 1989 by the firm Sicco Steendam (Warffum). Pipework from the previous organ of this church, which was delivered in 1913 by the firm L. van Dam & Zonen in Leeuwarden, was used for this.

Nieuw-Vennep, NL

Reconstruction church in traditionalist style, with a large tower to the right of the front facade. Refurbishment of the interior in 1992, during which the original pulpit was removed. Refurbishment of the interior again in 2009, during which, among other things, pews were replaced by chairs, and the liturgical centre (under the original organ) was further modernised.

Donkerbroek, NL

Neo-Romanesque church with roof turret. Built as a Reformed church, protected by the State because of the single-manual organ that was made in 1821 by A. van Gruisen from Leeuwarden for a church that was still unknown. In 1920 it was moved to Donkerbroek by Bakker & Timmenga from Leeuwarden. The case and the mechanism were renewed on that occasion. In 1964 the company Gebr. Reil (Heerde) expanded it with a mixer. The company Bakker & Timmenga restored it in 1997.

Hall church, built in 1906 with round arch windows and short lower transepts. Small stone facade tower, crowned by pyramid-shaped spire. Interior changed in 1951. During a change to the interior in 1992, the pulpit from the construction period was replaced by a pulpit in the shape of the bow of a skûtsje.
