The Church of the Holy Trinity is an Orthodox church designed by Carl Ludvig Engel, consecrated in 1827. The church is Empire style and serves the large Russian-speaking minority of Orthodox in Helsinki, partly because the other Orthodox churches in the city have held their services in Finnish. The top of the church's bell tower was originally made of wood, but twenty years after its construction it was rebuilt in the present stone when new heavy bells were added to the church.

The Church of the Holy Trinity in Krushevo was built in 1881. It burnt down during the uprising in Ilinden-Preobrazhenie (1903) but was quickly rebuilt afterwards.

The church was built between 1694 and 1702 by order of Prince-Archbishop Johann Ernst von Thun. Several sacred buildings in Rome served as models (including the church of Sant' Agnese in Agone by Francesco Borromini in Piazza Navona).

The Collegiate Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity is better known as the Holy Trinity Church or as Shakespeare’s Church. It is the place of William Shakespeare’s baptism, marriage and burial. The current church building dates from 1210 and is therefore the oldest building in Stratford-upon-Avon. In the 14th century, a chantry was founded by John de Stratford. This had to be rebuilt between 1465 and 1491. Some believe that the church originally had a wooden spire, which was replaced in 1763.
