The Baptistery of St. John the Baptist dates back to the 4th century and was originally located outside the walls, but was included, together with the Cathedral, in the so-called "fourth circle" walls (11th century), built by Matilda of Canossa. The present baptistery was built between 1059 and 1128 in the Florentine Romanesque style, with three sculpted bronze portals. The poet Dante Alighieri and many other Renaissance figures, including members of the Medici family, were baptised here.

Florø Church is a long wooden church built in 1882 and designed by Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. Before the church was built, the town's inhabitants had to make the long 16-kilometre sea journey to the old Kinn Church on the island of Kinn to attend church services.

The cathedral of Foggia was built from 1170 in the Romanesque style of Puglia, with Pisan influences. It was damaged and restored in a purely Baroque style after the 1731 earthquake. Foggia Cathedral is closely linked to the "Virgin of the Seven Veils" which, according to tradition, was found in the 11th century by a shepherd in the current lake square in Foggia.

Föglö Church is a medieval stone church whose construction probably began as early as the 1320s. The church was enlarged in the 15th century. Between 1859 and 1861, the church was given a cross plan under the direction of the architect Georg Theodor von Chiewitz. The medieval tower is now completed by a baroque roof with a high lantern. In 1968, the church was renovated according to Erik Kråkström's plan.

The mosque is located in the western area of the old village centre. Little is known about the history of this mosque. However, the building has been renovated several times and the appearance of the building has also been changed.
