Gildeskål Church is a medieval stone church, built around 1200. The wings and choirs have stood since the Middle Ages. After the fire of 1710, the church was enlarged by a large arm to the south, and probably the portals and windows were rebuilt and enlarged at the same time. The church remained unused and largely unchanged from 1881 until its restoration in the 1930s. The interior of the church, which has been preserved since the reconstruction in 1710, is one of the best-preserved 18th-century interiors among Norwegian churches.

The Gimmestad church is a long church dating from 1910. The building was designed by the architect Niels Stockfleth Darre Eckhoff. The church does not have an altarpiece but is decorated with a copy of Bertel Thorvaldsen's Christ from Copenhagen Cathedral. This copy was made in 1912.

The old Gimmestad church, built in 1692, is a long church with a porch on the west side. Above the western part of the nave is a turret. The exterior of the church is clad in horizontal panels painted red. In 1914-15 the church was restored under the direction of the architect Kristian Rivertz, and the painted decoration was restored by Bjørn Kaland in 1964.

Giralda is the name given to the bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa María de la Sede in the city of Seville. The lower two-thirds of the bell tower corresponds to the minaret of the city's old mosque, dating from the late twelfth century to the Almohad period (1121-1269), while the upper third is a construction superimposed on the Christian period to house the bells. In 1987, the bell tower was added to the World Heritage List along with the cathedral.

Girona has had a cathedral since the 6th century, the bishops of Girona even had similar importance to that of Toledo and Seville. During the Muslim occupation between the years 715 and 785, the cathedral was transformed into a mosque. The construction of the current cathedral began in the 11th century but continued until the 13th century, explaining the mix of Romanesque and Gothic architecture.

Giske Church is a long church built of stone in the 12th century. In the 1860s the church underwent changes, including the installation of new large windows. The interior of the church is simple, with signs of the 18th and 19th centuries. The south portal, the best-preserved medieval decoration, has a relief in the arched field above the door of the Lamb of God holding a cross.
