Built in 1967 as a Reformed Church liberated, expanded and renovated, and put back into use on November 17, 2001. The church hall remains, but meeting rooms, a youth center and a large kitchen have been added. The need for this arose from the fact that the church has a regional function. (47-02) Since merger in 2023 NGK.

The church was built in 1958/59 in the northern city expansion of Deventer. The design for the termination of the tower was changed in 1959. It is a very important, detailed reconstruction church. Three-aisled basilica church, without transept, with square front tower, stylistically built under slight influence of the Delft School, referring to early Christian and Romanesque architecture. The two side aisles have been widened, after a few narrow bays, to transept-like side aisles, which also serve as side chapels. The right side chapel is used as a Marian chapel, for smaller celebrations. The left side chapel, with a small recess, is now used as a meeting room, for drinking coffee after the celebrations. To the left of the front facade, the extended octagonal former baptismal chapel, now used as a Marian chapel, with a few modern windows.

Simple modern church with small tower. Replaced a wooden church building. 2023, no longer in use as a church building, but only for meetings. Church services now take place in the church building Bethelde Koningskerk mainly offers space for the open church, catechesis and Bible study.
