Hesby Church
Hesby Church is a medieval stone church, built in the 13th century. The church originally had a sturdy west tower, but this was demolished around 1800. The stones protruding from the outside of the west wall are visible traces of this tower. In 1870, the church was given a new porch, with an entrance portal built of recycled stone from the old south portal of the nave. The sacristy was built in 1960.
