Janskerk

The Janskerk was founded shortly after 1040. It was one of the five college churches of Utrecht in the Middle Ages (the others were the Dom, the Salvatorkerk, the Pieterskerk church and Maria). The building was restored in 1977-1981.

Sint-Willibrordkerk

Sint-Willibrord is a Roman Catholic church of Gothic Revival style. The present building, built between 1875 and 1877, was preceded by a 17th century church and a provisional church dating from 1842.

Pieterskerk

The Pieterskerk, established in 1039, is one of the oldest churches in Utrecht. Ravaged by fires in 1148 and 1279, by a tornado in 1674, Pieterskerk is nevertheless the best preserved Romanesque church in Utrecht.
