About this building

The interior is covered by a dark painted beamed solarium but is still very light thanks to all the pointed arch and round arch windows. The freestanding, robust tower was built around 1300 and raised in 1500. There is a cachot on the ground floor. In the tower hangs a loud bell that was cast by Geert van Wou in 1502 and in the ridge turret on the tower hangs a so-called 'hum' mummy clock.

The church is rented by the Reformed Church in Baflo, Rasquert and Tinallinge. It has an organ that was built by Roelf Meijer in 1876 and has since undergone a number of restorations and modifications.
